![]() ![]() Not only did I cry for one of the main protagonists, the fate of some of the secondary protagonists was heartbreaking as well. It was dark, sad and my heart broke into a thousand pieces. But they are also sexy together and above all you can feel the love between Riley and his angels. The bond he has with his angels is strengthened and I absolutely loved how his relationship with Gideon, Jai and Noel developed. Riley is back with his angels and after the last volume there is a lot for him to work through. ![]() Nikole Knight has written an incredibly good and intriguing series. He did a great job portraying each character and I look forward to listening to more audiobooks with John York. John York was new to me and it was a pleasure to listen to his pleasant voice. I wouldn't have minded if the story had been longer. The story was short, but compelling and very entertaining. Once started with the audiobook, I had listened through it very quickly. And despite the age difference, these two were pretty hot. It was realistic to me and despite the shortness of the book, the author got the emotions across well. I found both characters very sympathetic and I liked how the story developed. Luckily, David comes to his rescue and takes him back to his cabin. ![]() When Luca goes home to his parents after breaking up with his boyfriend, the end of the line for him is nowhere in Canada. I have read a few books by author Nikole Knight, but this is my first in The Foxxxy Gentlemen's Club series. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What tripe! The hero is the only purebred vampire, but how did he come about, the history of the race is not fleshed out. He is so blind he can barely eat and cannot tell the difference between mashed potatoes and rice on his dinner plate, yet when his libido kicks in he can see juice running down the heroines chin when he feeds her a strawberry. The hero is suppose to be almost totally blind (strange concept), yet he can see to fight. Maybe if this book was marketed as a spoof of the genre I would not have been so disappointed, at least I would have been prepared for the corny writing. The interaction between the ultra alphamale characters is so cheesetastically written, I actually laughed aloud. Although the BDB are hundreds years old, plenty of time to sound intelligent and cultured, they converse as if they learned how to speak from listening to rap music (dig my brotha?). The dialogue is juvenile to say the least. ![]() Based on the plethora of rave reviews, imagine my surprise when I found myself HATING this book. To say I was excited to listen to this book is an understatement. ![]() ![]() ![]() She's a sucker for reverse harem, bully romance, enemies to lovers, heroes who redeem themselves, and all the drama and passion of new adult love.
